HAMILTON, Ohio, January 4, 2019 (Newswire.com) - The Records Company finished an eventful year with a move to new offices at 5539 Eureka Drive in Hamilton, Ohio. The new larger corporate office space allows the company to bring all its satellite offices into one space. The move allows all parts of the business to seamlessly interact, making the time delay almost non-existent, as a simple conversation can be had in moments rather than via email. This streamlined interaction leads to a faster, more integrated process from intake to records processing.
The company made preparations for expanding operations in January 2018 by converting its status from a limited liability corporation (LLC) to a corporation. This conversion is a typical move for growing companies and provided a new management structure with Grady Marin serving as president, chief executive officer and chairman of the board. Marin will continue to serve in this position alongside Vice-President and Director of Marketing Agata Zachary, Chief Operations Officer and Vice-Chair of the Board Laura Elam and Legal Counsel Karl Kilguss.
Also in early 2018, The Records Company formalized company policy requiring all client specialists to complete annual training to maintain HIPAA certification, ensuring staff is fully compliant with federal privacy laws and regulations.
Late in 2018, the company added self-service components to its website, allowing clients to update their registration information and account settings through the secure online portal also used to process records requests. These new components are designed to increase efficiency for clients by eliminating the need to contact the company directly to update or change account information.
The self-service components on the website mark the first of several other updates planned for 2019. “We will be working toward integrating more automation by creating a new, more flexible portal designed specifically for The Records Company and integrating some AI processes to run the more data-heavy parts of the portal,” says Vice-Chair of the Board Laura Elam. The added automation will allow faster processing of records requests, giving clients an even more efficient and seamless records retrieval experience.
